Having over 35 years of pediatric experience as an Occupational Therapist, I have a vast knowledge base of childhood development and how to foster good motor skills, both gross motor and fine motor as well as working on sensory, visual perceptual and cognitive skills. I have spent the vast majority of my career "REMEDIATING" developmental challenges and helping children reach their highest potential. I have always been so passionate about not only helping children but supporting their families. Over the past years, clinically, I have observed referrals for OT shifting to neuro-TYPICAL kids who are needing therapy in later years due to sensory motor issues that might have been PREVENTED if given the adequate stimulation and mastery of some skills during that first crucial year of development.
I am passionate in educating new parents and guiding them to stimulate their healthy, typical babies to keep all developmental milestones ON TRACK and provide the guidance needed to foster good future sensory motor development for ALL children.
