Pediatric Occupational therapist, Sharon Seltman, has provided traditional OT services for children with special needs for decades. She is now also offering educational group and one on one consultation and education sessions to new and expectant parents to help keep typical babies ON TRACK for healthy development
Sharon Seltman is the most wonderful OT, she worked with our special needs son Teddy for many years. Her knowledge, wealth of experience, engagement, enthusiasm and patience is second to none. She is the best OT we have ever worked with leaving no stone unturned. And more importantly she is such a sense of comfort and support for parents which is equally as important. Each session was fun for both the child and the parent. Transferring her knowledge base and experience to the typically developing child and parent is going to be such a fountain of knowledge and most needed in the world we live in today.

Sharon is such a fabulous resource, her deep knowledgeable and understanding of children's development is so impressive. She is able to take this and really help parents understand and apply in their daily lives how to support your child hitting their milestones. My daughter hated tummy time but Sharon worked with me to find ways to help keep her engaged and ensure she was working on skills to support her development. She is always responsive to my questions and makes herself available. She is also one the kindest, caring and patient people I have ever met and as a new mom I greatly appreciated this and her support.

My daughter was born with a very tight neck. This made things like tummy time and rolling over more challenging. Sharon was such a great resource, giving me all the tips and tricks to facilitate less fussy tummy time and how to help my daughter learn to independently roll over. Sharon was very hands on and showed me easy ways to facilitate both fine and gross motor movements to practice at home. She was my OT support system! I highly recommend Sharon Seltman and the wealth of knowledge and love she shows her clients.

"My son was diagnosed with torticollis (tightness in his neck) and plagiocephaly (flatness of his head) at 2 months old. We immediately contacted Sharon and started in therapy. Thanks to the advice and exercises given to us by Sharon, we have been able to strengthen my son's neck, allowing him to gain symmetrical movements and preventing the need for a helmet. Thank you for all your help, Sharon! I would highly recommend Sharon's services to any parents, especially newly expectant parents."

When our son was diagnosed with a developmental delay at 2 years old I did not know where to turn. After speaking with a neighbor, Sharon came highly recommended. Sharon started working with our son immediately as early intervention is KEY. At the time, I also had a new baby at home and the fact that she traveled to us and came into our home was a lifesaver. Sharon saw how my family operated on a day to day basis and provided us with real life sensory, motor planning and brain building activities that we could implement on a daily basis.
Our son is currently thriving at home and in school. I no longer worry about our child slipping through the cracks. The strong foundation and skills that Sharon taught our family will carry on with our child for years to come. I am thrilled to hear about Sharon's Babies on Track program and will be scheduling an appointment for her to work with our 7 month old baby. If there is one thing I have learned, it is never too early to educate parents on healthy development.

Sharon Seltman, registered and licensed Occupational Therapist with
over 40 years experience, is passionate about teaching new parents and
grandparents the importance of "Tummy Time". As a soon to be new
grandparent, I was fortunate to attend a recent zoom class. It was
truly an hour well spent. Sharon shared valuable information as well
as hands-on demonstrations. The participants also received notes on
developmental milestones and suggested activities. A suggested toy
list was also included. I highly recommend taking this class. You
will be glad you did!!!

"Sharon has worked with my special needs daughter, Kendall, for 15 years. She has provided strategies and techniques that have been instrumental in improving Kendall’s fine and gross motor skills. Sharon always finds new ways to challenge Kendall, yet makes it fun. For these reasons, Sharon has been instrumental in improving Kendall's (and thus our family's) quality of life. Kendall adores Sharon and always enjoys her sessions. Sharon is an amazing occupational therapist and person and has become a good friend over the years. We are blessed to know her on a professional and personal basis."

"Our baby, Emmett, was born 5 weeks early. He was not ready for “traditional” tummy time activities right away, and we weren’t sure how to meet his exact needs developmentally. Sharon gave us wonderful and creative ideas for practicing tummy time with him to help make him stronger. They were all very practical too and easy to practice when our baby had such limited awake time. As he’s grown older, Sharon has continued to show us ways to change our tummy time activities to continue to make Emmett stronger and ensure he’s getting quality practice!”
